Or perhaps you’re like me and have lived with anxiety since you were a child. And now as an adult, you live with anxiety symptoms every day  like nausea, shortness of breath, an overactive mind and constant fatigue.

And I’ve been there. Anxiety was a huge part of my identity for most of my life. Though I didn’t know what it was when I was in school. I thought I was a worrier and just thought too much. I even wore my overthinking as a badge of honor. I always felt I had to be ready for anything life sent me. I would over-prepare and lived with thoughts of what if… and just in case… I would ruminate on anything I did that wasn’t perfect and would spend hours worrying about what tomorrow would look like. I didn’t trust myself. Even though every day I woke up was another proof point that I was succeeding in living. I couldn’t let myself relax because there was always room to improve, to do more, and I alone was never enough.

 My turning point was in 2017 when I went through a spiritual awakening. I had the epiphany that I didn’t need anything outside of myself to live a fulfilling life.


This was the first shift in my perspective that triggered an understanding that peace begins with me. However I see my internal state, is how I will relate to the outside world. And how I feel is 100% up to me.


There was a series of other small shifts in how I lived my life that eventually lead to the BIGGEST shift in my perspective: Anxiety is fear. It is a manifestation of fear of the future, the uncertain and of not having control over my life. The physical, mental and emotional pain I was experiencing were all BECAUSE of fear.


I made the decision to let go of my misidentification with this fear thought, i.e. with anxiety, and took control over my life.


After years though of living with anxiety, my body and mind were depleted of the nutrients and sources needed to live stress-free. This is where plant-based medicine came into play. As humans, we share genetics with plants and can replenish sources of nutrition with the help of plant medicine.


By using plants and mindset work daily, I’ve been able to step fully into my Highest self.  


And that’s how the Natural Anxiety Relief Method was born. Through years of working on my own mindset and using plants medicinally, I’ve  pinpointed the small shifts and specifics nutrients that women living with anxiety need to replenish their overworked, overwhelmed minds and bodies.

Hi! My name is Sophia, I am 30 years old and I have struggled with anxiety for as long as I can remember. I am now the mother to one amazing little girl and currently I spend all of my time with her as a homemaker. Well, before learning the Natural Anxiety Relief Method or NARM, it was probably pretty close to All of my time. If i wasn't with her, I was thinking of her, and between the pandemic lock downs and my postpartum and anxiety, I had lost all semblance of myself. I was a mess.
Like I mentioned, I had struggled with anxiety since I was a child. Once puberty hit, the depression settled in. Since turning 18, I have tried multiple forms of therapy and medications with no real relief. I have a bachelor's in psychology, a master's in clinical social work, and am trained in various types of talk therapy but it all just left me frustrated with my inability to fix myself. When a friend shared Noemi's offering of NARM with me, I was so anxious my body was screaming at me for help. My legs were restless, my hands were cramping and tingly, my arms ached, my jaw, neck, and shoulders were constantly tense, and my head hurt so much it felt like I could feel my anxious thoughts pushing on my skull. I was desperate for relief and this course seemed to be offering what I saw as a glimpse of hope when I had otherwise given up. Despite being so drawn to working with Noemi, I did everything I could to talk myself out of it. I told myself it was out of my budget, it would be a waste of money because I couldn't be helped, and basically various ways of telling myself I wasn't worth it. I recognize now that it was just my ego trying to keep me where I was comfortable and it almost worked but my husband saw how much I wanted it and convinced me to at least try. Now, I'd be lying if I said everything was sunshine and rainbows since the day I signed up but I think what I have to say is far more meaningful. Yes, I've been going through struggles since working with Noemi but life is full of challenges and that isn't going to change. What can change, is how you meet those challenges.
NARM teaches you how to take care of yourself in a way that prepares you for the challenges you'll meet in life and provides you with the tools you'll need to grow through those challenges. Before NARM, I never prioritized myself. I had become all-consumed by motherhood and had convinced myself that sacrificing myself somehow proved i was a good mom. But, if that were the case, why did I feel like I was failing? Because of Noemi and the NARM, I know that in order to do my best and be the best mother I can be to my daughter, I have to take care of myself. That doesn't just mean bubble baths and ice cream but also listening to my body and providing it with the nutrients it needs, practicing mindfulness so I can better handle those difficult moments and not become overwhelmed so easily, and giving myself the space I need to be and grow. I can honestly tell you, i have never been so hopeful in my life. My body no longer aches and is eager to move. I feel incredibly in tune with what it is trying to tell me and understanding what it needs. My menstrual cycles are unbelievably more manageable. My vaginal dryness is gone (you really can't understand how uncomfortable it is until you have it) And most importantly, in those really difficult moments, the ones that used to leave me debilitated, I feel a reassuring sense of confidence in my own ability to overcome.

Milestone #1: Mindset Shift — Morning Routine
Welcome to The Natural Anxiety Relief Method! In week 1-2, we do the hard work of shifting your perspective and learning to see your anxiety differently. Together, we’ll address your current mindset and blocks in order to release them. I’ll teach you EFT tapping, give you powerful affirmations specific to your situation, and provide a series of practices that will give you relief anytime you feel a spike in your anxiety. In these two weeks, we’ll create a customized morning routine together infused with optional plant medicine just for you to start your day with self-care in order to set the tone for the rest of your day.

Milestone #2: Rest Shift — Sleep Routine
The milestone in weeks 3-4 is all about shifting your routine to give you a better cadence of rest. We’ll look at your sleep schedule and set it to give you the kind of sleep you need to feel rested according to your energy qualities. We’ll create a wind-down routine together that will leave you feeling luxurious and oh-so-ready to go to sleep every single night.

Milestone #3: Nutritional Shift — Nourishment Routine
Do you find yourself eating and snacking on autopilot? In weeks 5-6 we address and acknowledge your eating habits in order to shift from a mindset of eating as a way to fulfill hunger to eating for nutrition. We look at what nutrition you’re getting from the foods you eat and become mindful of the nutrition you actually need to manage your energy and hormones. Together, we’ll look at your individual energy type (dosha) and breakdown what you need to eat to feel good. I’ll teach you about the importance of when you eat during the day.  Prepare to feel SO good after you eat!

Milestone #4:  Stress Shift – Relaxation Routine Milestone 4 is dedicated to ending the stress cycle through relaxation. Together, we’ll create habits to help you relax even during stressful times. I’ll give you the breakdown of how to relax and restore your body just for you. And I’ll help you shift your mindset to make relaxation an essential part of your routine to manage your anxiety long term. I’ll teach you how and why plants help to reduce symptoms of stress and adrenal fatigue. And I’ll take you through the scientific evidence for how terpenes and essential oils interact with the body.

Milestone #5: Physical Wellness Shift —  Movement Routine Do you think about exercise as just a way to work your bod? This milestone is all about reframing your idea of movement for wellness. We’ll tackle the misperception of moving just to exercise (repetitive motions with the goal of building muscle), and learn to see varied and frequent movement as something essential to feeling good physically AND emotionally and mentally. You’ll create habits to move throughout the day and week in ways that support your female hormone cycle.

Integration:
In weeks 10-12, we’ll work on integrating the milestones you’ve reached. By now you'll have a working blueprint with the routines we've created to manage your emotional wellness. In these three weeks, we'll refine your habits to make sure that you feel good and confident every day about managing how you feel. I'll help you integrate everything you’ve learned. You’ll reflect on how you feel now with your new habits and routines, and make any adjustments needed to perfect your blueprint before you step out into the world as your calm, fearless Highest Self.

Plant medicine is any plant you use as medicine, i.e. to restore physical and mental conditions to their neutral state so that you can rest physically and mentally. I use plants like lavender, basil, lemon, bergamot, peppermint, cannabis (where legal), and many more that help to neutralize the long term effects of living with anxiety and stress.
